Care

Botswana Agate is an agate, a variety of chalcedony, and with approximately 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale, it is reasonably hard and scratch-resistant. Nevertheless, hard knocks or contact with other jewellery can cause scratches — therefore, store your bracelet separately.

Brief contact with water is fine for the stone, but do not let it soak for extended periods. Remove your bracelet before showering, swimming, and exercising, and keep it away from perfume, soap, and lotion, so that the delicate banded patterns retain their clarity.
