Leopard Jasper is, strictly speaking, a silica-rich volcanic rock (rhyolite) and, with approximately 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale, is reasonably hard and scratch-resistant. However, hard knocks or contact with other jewellery can cause scratches — therefore, store your bracelet separately.

Brief contact with water is generally fine for the stone, but avoid prolonged soaking. Remove your bracelet before showering, swimming, and exercising, and keep it away from perfume, soap, and lotion, to help maintain the depth of its spotted pattern.
