Care

Tiger Eye is a type of quartz and, with a hardness of about 7 on the Mohs scale, is quite durable. As such, the stone is reasonably scratch-resistant, but hard contact with keys, other jewellery, or stone surfaces can still cause minor scratches. Store your bracelet separately to prevent the beads from rubbing against other materials.

Brief contact with water is generally fine for the stone, but avoid prolonged soaking. Remove your bracelet before showering, swimming, or washing up, and keep it away from soap, perfume, body lotion, and hair products — these can eventually dull the lustre, especially around the elastic and finish.

For care, a soft, dry cloth is sufficient: simply wipe the beads after wearing to remove skin oils and dust. This will help the warm golden-brown lustre maintain its depth.
